Include
Ø
Ensuring the implementation of day-to-day requirements of quality
assurance systems such as HACCP and ISO 9001. Ensuring that prescribed
work instruction for production and quality control are adhered to
detecting all deviations (non-conformances) and correcting the same.
Reporting all such deviations or abnormalities to concerned personnel
for timely corrective action.
Ø
Being
a member in HACCP team taking part in all HACCP meetings and
undertaking to do all assignments as required.
Ø
Ensuring checking the quality of water, checking materials and all
other consumables as laid down in the work instruction.
Ø
Ensuring prompt and updated documentation of all records, related to
HACCP and ISO 9001.
Ø
Undertaking to do all microbiological analysis, chemical, physical and
organoleptic tests as per work instructions as and when required.
Ø
Segregation of approved, hold and rejected stocks, i.e., for raw
materials, in process and finished goods. Follow up of disposition of
hold and rejected stock.
Ø
Ensures careful handling of calibrated equipments.
Ø
Ensures quality of customer-supplied product.
Ø
Monitors the product identification and trace ability requirement are
fully implemented.
Ø
Imparts training to subordinates and also to workers in the lab.
Ø
Internal audit as Level 2 auditors.
