B.Tech - Food  Science
  Experience
Post Graduate experience, familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP essential. 

Under direct supervision of Manager (Quality Assurance & Procurement) ensuring routine checking of quality at all stages of production from raw material to finished product. Ensuring that corrective actions are promptly taken and implemented to ensure that product fully conforms to quality specifications and mandatory requirements.

 
 

Key Responsibility Include

 

Ø       Ensuring the implementation of day-to-day requirements of quality assurance systems such as HACCP and ISO 9001. Ensuring that prescribed work instruction for production and quality control are adhered to detecting all deviations (non-conformances) and correcting the same. Reporting all such deviations or abnormalities to concerned personnel for timely corrective action.

Ø       Being a member in HACCP team taking part in all HACCP meetings and undertaking to do all assignments as required.

Ø       Ensuring checking the quality of water, checking materials and all other consumables as laid down in the work instruction.

Ø       Ensuring prompt and updated documentation of all records, related to HACCP and ISO 9001.

Ø       Undertaking to do all microbiological analysis, chemical, physical and organoleptic tests as per work instructions as and when required.

Ø       Segregation of approved, hold and rejected stocks, i.e., for raw materials, in process and finished goods.  Follow up of disposition of hold and rejected stock.

Ø       Ensures careful handling of calibrated equipments.

Ø       Ensures quality of customer-supplied product.

Ø       Monitors the product identification and trace ability requirement are fully implemented.

Ø       Imparts training to subordinates and also to workers in the lab.

Ø       Internal audit as Level 2 auditors.
